In
one of the most pleasant areas of Bergantiños you can
stay at the old house of Mar De Queo. |
With
an hórreo (a small stone building constructed above floor
level where corn is kept), coat of arms, niche and a stone cross.
This
building goes back to the XVIII century. Subsequently
it is renovated by its actual owners. It has been completed
restored conserving all the original materials and typical rural
galician architecture.

DE QUEO, provides five rooms, three doubles and two singles.
Each room has a bath, T.V., radio F.M. and telephone. |

building is all central heated. It counts with 225m2,
large dinning room with chimney, library, three-seater sofa,
pool table, chess table and other table games.

The
living room has a large open balcony so that you can enjoy the
summer nights. Its basement provides a wine cellar where
you can enjoy the Ribeiro and Alvariño wine together
with the countries cheese or our coastal shellfish.

its exterior we offer an area of 1.400 m2 with a beautiful cascade
fountain which has a large fish pond. |

Further
up the garden you find yourself with a stone cross, a cart,
a combine harvester and comfortable benches. The grass is
prepared so that you can play cricket, llave or the popular game
rana (a game into which disks are thrown into the mouth of a metal
frog), or you can rest under the shade of the fruit trees.
Reunions are arranged at night fall around the barbecue whilst preparing
delicious galician barbecued beef or fish and shellfish.
