19 December 1830 
English ship Adelaide shipwreks in front of Laxe on its cruise to the Antilles. Only the captain survived the disaster, while 13 sailors died drown. 

1873 
Austrian steamboat Oscar crashes against Barrosas' reefs, breaking in two and sinking inmediatly. 

9 November 1900 
Galician fishing ship Boedo e Ponte is eaten by the waves in Barra, dying 4 men. 

10 September 1907 
Fishing ship Gladiator crashes against Cape Roncudo in a very foggy night. The 13 crew could reach the coast alive. 

1919 
Greek cargo boat Anastasse shipwrecks in Barrosas' reefs. The legend tells the captaind sank the ship to get the money from the insurance company. 

2 February 1923 
Italian steam boat Padova gets in fire and shipwreks in front of Cape Roncudo.
