CORRIDA DO GALO - Baio 
Typical old Celtic tradition in Galicia, Galia and Britannia, the "roosters" or "gooses fighting" consist on beheading the animals by horse galloping. 
Baio was one of the last places in Galicia where this game was practiced. Nowadays this tradition has disappeared or evolved to a simple puppet game.

XOGO DAS VACAS - Barizo 
This traditional Carnival play consists on a humorous recreation of life. The characters perform in a exaggerated way to make people have a fun time.   
   
Lent, first Saturday 
ENTERRO DA MICAELA - Buno 
Micaela is a gigantic doll taken around by a band of cheerful masked people who drive her to be burned at the stake.   
   
July 24th   
LUMES DE SAN XOAN - All Galicia 
One of the Celtic calendar's four big festivities, the solstice celebration has been changed to a Saint John's homage. In all Galicia, both in the country and in the cities, people meet  around the fire, and they celebrate the night drinking wine and eating sardines.Some even jump over the bonfire to keep the bad witches away.
